In 2019, I was lucky enough to be the stitcher of the Kentucky square for Rita’s Quilt.

I wanted my square to look a little different, so I depicted a female cardinal rather than a traditional red one. The thread for the goldenrod was dyed with plants from my farm in Washington County, Kentucky.
